Ingredients

  • 1. 2 ½ pounds salmon filet (sliced into 2″ wide slices)
  • 2. 1 cup water 5 tablespoons dark brown sugar (packed)
  • 3. 1/4th  cup soy sauce (reduced-sodium)
  • 4. 2 tablespoons honey 4 cloves garlic (finely minced)
  • 5. 1 teaspoon fresh ground ginger
  • 6. 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 7. 1/8th    teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 8. 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 9. 1/4th   cup water (cold)

Instructions

    1. Combine all ingredients well, add little by little water and make a dough.
    2. First thing first, Smear the baking pan and line it with oiled foil. Warm the oven to 385-400 0F.
    3. Mix the constituents in a sauce pan and heat until solidified.
    4. Once done, allow it to cool down a bit (this will be used as a marinade and cover).
    5. Place both fish in a mixing bowl.
