- 20–30 Indian (or Kashmiri) red spicy chilies dried
- 20–30 Kannada (from Indian state of Karnataka) dry Red Chili
- 2-4 tbsp Vegetable Oil

Take spicy red chilies in a container.

Boil water in a pan and pour over the chilies to soak them for about half an hour.
- Strain the water.

Now put soaked chilies in a blender and make a fine paste of it. Add water as per requirement.
- take oil in a frying pan and turn on the heat.

After heating up the oil, add the chili paste to the pan and saute for the next 5 minutes.

Your thai style spicy red chili paste is ready.

The paste can be used within two weeks if you put it in a refrigerator.
